Word of the Year

Word of the Year

Posted by Cambria Connell on

Have you ever made a New Year’s Revolution and for one reason or another, didn’t keep it? My guess is probably yes! I always ended up letting myself down by not following through on these lofty goals I had made with little to no direction.

Now, instead of a making a resolution, at the start of the New Year, I brainstorm my Word for the Year. I spend some time with my journal and write all the feelings and words I want to inspire my year to come. You could also call it your Word of Intention - a word that represents your intention for the coming year.

Two years ago my word was Rise. I can look back on the year I had and I rose in so many ways, both in my business and in my personal life. This year my word was Gold. I meant it literally and figuratively. It became the year where gold was the number one seller, but also - I wanted to feel like gold. I wanted to shine and to feel like I was doing the best I could in all aspects of my life.

What word will inspire you this New Year? Where do you want to be 365 days from now? What do you want more of in your life? Or maybe it’s something you want less of. What is your heart calling to you this year?

Perhaps you are looking for more love, more abundance, more time, more freedom, more peace or more joy?

I put my word on a piece of jewelry each year and wear it as a visual reminder. There is power in seeing your word each day - having it remind you of exactly where you’re headed.

I put together a quick quiz to help you find your word for the year - hopefully it can help you set your course for this New Year!

I would love to hear what you have chosen as your word for this upcoming year! Please respond below or see if me a message!
